Founded in 1982, DLA started as a part time business as Dave's Lock Service,
specializing in locksmith services and access control systems in the Southern Maryland Area.
By 1985 DLA expanded that business to a full time operation.
By 1986 DLA added Burglar and Fire alarm systems along with Closed Circuit TV.
2016 marked DLA's expansion into Virginia.
